Naindeep Singh is not even progressive. He had a hand in creating inequity and district redlining when Justin Garza High was being built. He pandered to Granville Homes and helped redraw the boundaries, leaving the south side of the district underresourced. In addition to Central High being the most outdated high school in Fresno, it is also forced to absorb hundreds of students due to the redrawing of the boundaries. This is a blueprint for SEDA, and this is what he will bring to Fresno City Council. In addition, he allowed a hate crime to be committed against my son during the renaming of the school formerly known as Polk Elementary. He also allowed two parents who committed that hate crime against my son to be on the renaming committee and he allowed one of them to chair the committee. There also some Sikh Punjabi students who were verbally assaulted with racist taunts at a townhall meeting for the name change, and he did absolutely nothing about this, but he tried to say that I was using these students as a token when I spoke about this. There is a 15 year moratorium on name changes in the district, and he refuses to do anything about this. Also, there are a lot of issues with people’s calls being dropped during public comment, and he does nothing about this. As a matter of fact, he refused to allow my wife to speak because she supposedly called in too late even though she called in during public comment.
